According to Brian, Ingrid waited until it was time for them to be romantically involved to reveal this information. Before that, she enjoyed the trips and gifts Brian paid for. In one of his recent Instagram stories, Brian also alleged that the show producers paid Ingrid under the table to continue filming and faking their relationship until they had enough footage for a storyline.
It appears that Ingrid decided to break her NDA, as she posted an Instagram story this week with a long caption in Brazilian Portuguese expressing her appreciation for her man and ending with "Thank you for being such an amazing person, I love you." This only confirmed that Brian was telling the truth all along and that Ingrid was using him. Despite Brian's reprehensible behavior on the show, he does deserve a bit of sympathy for being used.
