David shares some very bad news about him and Sheila

Since their season on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days ended, David and Sheila have been navigating the ups and downs of their long-distance relationship.

David, a 42-year-old from Nebraska, and Sheila, a 33-year-old from the Philippines, met on a Facebook group for deaf singles and quickly formed a strong bond. Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship and their hearing impairments, they met and got engaged in September 2023. David has been working two jobs to support Sheila and her son, Jhonreil, while they wait for her K-1 visa to be approved. Sheila has also opened a "Sari-Sari" store to support herself and her family.

In January 2024, David started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to buy a home in the US for himself, Sheila, and her son. The campaign got the attention of their supporters, raising OVER $17,000 in a very short time. Being a homeowner one day is a dream for David, who lives in a one-bedroom apartment and struggles to make ends meet. The couple's dream of living together in a safe and comfortable home seemed within reach, thanks to the ongoing support of their fans.

However, on November 4th, David shared some heartbreaking news on Instagram: his mother had passed away. This loss was a devastating blow for David, who had a close relationship with his mother and wanted her to be present at his wedding. He posted a touching tribute to her, expressing his love and sorrow. The news of his mother's passing added to the emotional and financial stress that David was already facing, making it a challenging time for him and Sheila.

As if losing his mother wasn't enough, David received more bad news shortly after. Sheila's K-1 visa application was denied. David shared the disappointing update on Instagram, thanking his fans for their support and explaining that they would have to start the visa application process all over again. This means another two-year wait before Sheila can join him in the United States.
