This is what happened to Holly and Wayne after 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple Holly Weeks and Wayne Cornish had one of the oddest relationships in the franchise. Holly, a 44-year-old from Utah, had an unusual attachment to fairytales and identified herself as Rapunzel. Although her hair measured around 70 inches, some fans accused her of using extensions.

On the show, Holly claimed she had been a hairstylist for five years. Despite interacting with people and clients daily as part of her job, she described herself as a loner and a princess waiting in a high tower for her prince charming. She thought that Wayne, a 40-year-old licensed plumber from Johannesburg, was the one. However, things went south very fast between them after they got married.

Holly, originally from Utah, struggled to adapt to life in South Africa. Safety concerns, frequent power outages, and cultural differences made her feel more isolated and anxious than ever. Despite her initial excitement about starting a new life with Wayne, the reality of living in a foreign third-world country began to take its toll on her. Holly's discomfort was evident during the season finale when she expressed her desire to return to the United States.

Wayne, on the other hand, had deep roots in South Africa. By the time they filmed for the reality TV show, his plumbing business in Johannesburg, which he had poured considerable time and money into, was already failing. Wayne kept his sinking business a secret from his wife until it was too late. Also, Moving to the United States was not feasible for him as he had a close relationship with his elderly parents in South Africa and wanted to take care of them. These issues led to major disagreements between him and Molly, eventually leading to her flying back to the United States and leaving her South African husband behind.

After the Tell All of the fifth season, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, things didn't improve between Holly and Wayne. Wayne went on a lengthy rant on his Instagram page before deactivating it and vanishing from social media. He accused TLC of fabricating many aspects of his relationship with his American wife and claimed that he was never a Jehovah's Witness. In November 2023, he responded to a fan, stating he is no longer with Holly. In 2024, Wayne is still not seen on social media, and Holly is still living in the United States, according to her social media activities. The couple didn't get back together and probably got divorced privately.
