Brandi Clark tells the truth about her mom, who was wrongfully portrayed on the show

 On the 10th season of 90 Day Fiancé, Clayton Clark's mom lived in his walk-in closet. The plan for her was to live there temporarily in order to save enough money and move into her own place one day. Violet didn't follow the plan and ended up staying three years in her son's closet until the day that he brought his Peruvian fiancé to the United States. Clayton's apartment was cramped since he had four pets, and his mom's hoarding habits made things worse.

Violet and Clayton may have a close relationship nowadays, but that wasn't always the case. According to his sister Brandi, their mom was a neglectful party girl. Brandi was 12 years old when Clayton was born, and she spent most of her teenage years taking care of him while their mom was out there having the time of her life partying, sn0rting c0caine, and neglecting her kids and future.

When arguing with a 90 Day Fiancé fan on Instagram, Brandi wrote in a comment:" Clayton was born when I was 12 and we had a very rough upbringing. I was left at home with him to babysit A LOT so my mom could run around and party. He was basically my child. 5 years later I became a mom to my own children, and I still had Clayton, a lot because I wanted to. At first, many of the viewers felt bad for Clayton's mom. They thought that she worked hard all of her life and took good care of her two kids but couldn't retire peacefully because of inflation and the rising cost of living crisis. Since Violent was a neglectful mom, it's now more understandable why Brandi is so overprotective of her brother.
